Job Description

We are looking for a Front-end Engineer (Full Stack) to join our Global Front Engineering team to build next generation of tools and products. In this role, you will be contributing to the Design Systems libraries, documentation portals, and overall developer experience. You will collaborate closely with designers, software engineers, accessibility experts, product owners, and other stakeholders across Product, Design, and Technology organizations. This position requires the use of software development knowledge and advanced AI tools to develop precise, accessible, and responsive custom web and mobile components, patterns, and applications. You will utilize web and mobile technologies knowledge, and AI-powered tools for code and prototype generation, leveraging modern language models and related technologies. The role involves hands-on development, as well as guiding and refining AI processes to produce high-quality front-end libraries and full stack solutions. Proficiency in backend systems is necessary to contribute to enterprise-grade applications and systems. Working with cross-functional teams, you will need to stay informed about the latest advancements in front-end, full stack, DevOps, and generative AI technologies to integrate best practices and innovative solutions into projects.

Role responsibilities:

• Take ownership as an AI-native developer, building engaging, usable, and accessible UI components, patterns, applications, and code libraries for web & mobile technologies in our public and open-source Design System.
• Drive innovation in web and mobile development by adopting and experimenting with AI-driven techniques across product and developer workflows.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of existing software for usability and accessibility, providing actionable recommendations and assisting with implementation.
• Collaborate proactively with a diverse team of product owners, UX designers, and developers in a dynamic environment, leading quick iterative cycles and contributing to technical decisions.
• Stay informed about the latest trends in web and mobile engineering and incorporate relevant advancements into ongoing projects.
• Champion UI/UX front-end best practices and accessibility standards for both web and mobile platforms.
• Continuously improve team DevOps processes by learning, applying, and leveraging agentic AI solutions.
• Support developers, designers, stakeholders, and system users through developer relations and community channels, providing guidance and technical expertise.
• Remain current with the rapidly evolving engineering landscape in generative AI and integrate best practices and innovations into our solutions.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or Masters in CS, MIS, UX or equivalent experience.
• Experience working on design systems engineering, component libraries, single page applications and/or mobile applications.
• Experience in building enterprise-grade software applications.

Essential Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Demonstrated experience with modern front-end frameworks, such as Angular and/or React.
• Proven experience with at least one server-side web application framework and language (e.g., NodeJS or Python).
• Hands-on experience with mobile app platforms like Flutter or native Android/iOS SDKs preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in implementing pixel-perfect layouts and advanced UI components.
• Extensive experience building Single Page Applications that consume API/REST services.
• Strong knowledge of UX design principles, wireframes, and prototyping tools.
• Strong independent work ethic and time management skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of web standards and accessibility best practices.
• Excellent analytical skills for translating requirements into application flows.
• Proficient use of Figma for seamless design collaboration.
• Expertise in responsive design implementation.
• Hands-on experience with AI development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Bolt, Lovable, V0) preferred.
• Experience building and maintaining full stack applications (Python, FastAPI, LLMs).
• Practical experience in DevOps and managing containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with harnessing AI development tools such as Bolt, Lovable, V0 etc.
• Background in data science or engineering is a plus.
• Advanced problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to stay ahead of advancements in generative AI and software engineering best practices.
• Strong focus on delivering user-friendly and innovative application solutions.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 105,800.00 to 149,550.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
