Your Job

What this role looks like.

• Acting as a global expert for buying data, driving various projects and initiatives across functions and geographies
• Streamlining existing and future data assets / structures to ensure a transparent and reliable data/ KPI catalogue that enables data-driven steering
• Addressing ongoing challenges and optimiszinge existing data structures to increase potential efficiency and reduce the risk of data- related errors
• Establishing and driving various initiatives and methods to increase data quality by reducing or avoiding errors
• Managing global  stakeholder across various levels and functions to identify gaps or potentials related to data
• Assuming responsibility and driving the planning, implementation and monitoring of IT projects to ensure that goals are achieved on time and to the highest quality standards
• Providing guidance and training to internal stakeholders on data asset management, data catalogue usage and data quality best practices

Your Profile

What you bring with you.

• Excellent project management skills, ideally in the area of buying
• Data-related knowledge in the areas of data assets and quality management in a multi-national complex company
• In-depth buying-related knowledge and experience to understand relevant data, KPI and report structures
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex structures and identify issues
• Willingness to assume responsibility for topics and contribute decision-making skills in complex international environments
• Excellent communication and, presentation skills, including an agile mindset
• Business-fluent English language skills

 

Desirable extras.

• Proven experience (2–-5 years) in project management, ideally in a buying context, with the ability to:
• Lead, structure and drive initiatives independently.
• Manage multiple priorities and stakeholder groups.
• Deliver high-quality results within specified timelines.
• Provide ongoing status updates on various stakeholder levels.
• Knowledge and proven experience of data asset and quality management in a complex organisational environment, including:
• Data management principles, methodologies and tools
• Data governance
• Data quality management and assurance
