The Identity Verification Platform team at Microblink is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable QA Engineer for an internship and part-time position (20 hours per week). Our Platform team includes backend, frontend, and mobile developers, as well as designers, technical writers, DevOps engineers, and a product manager, all working together on a platform for secure and efficient identity verification. As an Intern QA Engineer, you will support our current QA initiatives by testing activities on the IDV project, helping to ensure the functionality, performance, and quality of our platform across various environments and devices.

Here’s what you’ll do:
  • Perform manual testing of our web and mobile applications (functional, regression, and exploratory testing)
  • Write, maintain, and update test cases and related documentation
  • Report and track bugs using tools like Jira
  • Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on testability and potential risks
  • Prepare and update documentation related to QA processes and completed tasks
  • Assist senior QA engineers with release preparations and execution, including running regression tests, verifying fixes, and ensuring release readiness
You’ll be successful in this role if you

  • Have a keen eye for detail and a systematic approach to problem solving
  • Are reliable, precise, and responsible in your work
  • Can organize your time well and set your priorities if needed
  • Have excellent English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Have student rights for at least 6 more months and availability for part-time work
It’s a plus if you

  • Have experience with tools like Jira, Trello, or similar bug/task tracking systems
  • Are familiar with basic software testing concepts, either through personal, academic, or professional projects
  • Know at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript)
