Data Scientist (Senior)

About our client:
Our client is a professional management consultancy and IT services provider, focused on delivering creative and innovative digital solutions. Their client base includes both startups and large corporations, but their mission remains the same: to provide excellent support in the design, development, and implementation of digital products that drive value and transformation.

What you will be doing:

• Extracting insights from data through analysis, modelling, and the application of various advanced analytics tools.
  
• Analysing and interpreting complex data to provide actionable insights and inform business decisions.
  
• Applying techniques such as statistics, programming, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and predictive modelling.
  

What our client is looking for:

• A relevant tertiary qualification would be ideal (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, etc.)
  
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern programming and analytical tools such as Python, R, Stata, Java, JavaScript, MATLAB, or machine learning frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow.
  
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure, and tools like Docker and Kubernetes is highly beneficial.
  
• Strong skills in data querying and storage are also required, with familiarity in SQL, NoSQL technologies like Neo4j, SPARQL, MongoDB, and platforms such as Snowflake.
