We are seeking a Senior Executive Director of Data Strategy & Insights to join our team. 

Remote: This opportunity is available for candidates residing in PA, DE, FL, LA, MD, NJ, OH, TX, and VA.

Position Details:

The Senior Executive Director (SED) of Data Strategy & Insights is a thought leader who effectively communicates complex data and insights to shape conversations, strategy, and policy through compelling storytelling. Utilizing advanced analytics and data visualization, the SED leads the data science team in telling Merakey’s story by demonstrating the value, ROI, and social impact of high-quality services, while inspiring curiosity and driving innovation to identify and create new stories to tell.

The Ideal candidate will have:

• Demonstrated excellence in data communication and storytelling
• Experienced in research and program evaluation
• Demonstrated experience in writing white papers, preparing presentations, and public speaking
• Familiarity with public and population health concepts and insights
• Experience working in complex healthcare systems or behavioral health networks
• Understanding of behavioral health policy, funding mechanisms and regulatory environments.
• Proven experience in building, developing, and growing high performing teams that achieve desired outcomes and strategic objectives. 
• Strong problem solving, leadership, teamwork and interpersonal skills

• PhD in Public Health, Psychology, Health Administration, Data Science, or related field
• At least 5 years experience with health data analytics, visualization, and storytelling. Research and/or publication experience required.
• At least 5 years of supervisory/managerial experience required.
• Experience in behavioral health or social services strongly preferred.
