Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Growth Marketing Analyst to help drive growth analytics projects for a high impact client. In this critical role, you will be at the forefront of driving user acquisition, engagement, and retention for B2C apps. You will delve into complex datasets to uncover user behavior patterns, identify growth opportunities, and enable marketers execute data-informed marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate is a curious and creative problem-solver with a passion for understanding user journeys. You will work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and marketing teams to fuel the exponential growth of the product.
Roles and Responsibilities:
User Acquisition Analysis:
- Analyze the performance of various user acquisition channels (organic, paid, referral, etc.) to identify the most effective strategies for attracting new users.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for user acquisition, including Cost Per Acquisition (CPA), Lifetime Value (LTV), and conversion rates.
- Conduct A/B testing and multivariate experiments on landing pages, ad copy, and user onboarding flows to optimize for conversion.
- Identify and explore new and emerging channels to reach target audiences.
Engagement and Retention Analysis:
- Define and analyze key engagement and retention metrics specific to a conversational AI, such as session duration, conversation depth, feature adoption, and user satisfaction (CSAT).
- Develop a deep understanding of user cohorts and their journeys within the product to identify patterns that lead to long-term engagement and retention.
- Work with the product team to translate user insights into actionable product improvements and new feature ideas that enhance the user experience.
- Design and analyze experiments to increase user engagement and reduce churn.
Data Analysis and Insights:
- Utilize SQL and data visualization tools to explore large datasets, identify trends, and generate actionable insights about user behavior.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track key growth metrics and communicate performance to stakeholders.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses into specific user segments and product features to understand their impact on overall growth.
- Communicate complex data findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Marketing Campaign Support:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to define targeting strategies, measure the impact of campaigns, and optimize for performance.
- Provide data-driven recommendations for messaging, creative, and audience segmentation.
- Analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives in driving product adoption and engagement.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- SQL: Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from large datasets.
- Data Analytics & Visualization Tools: Experience/ Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- A/B Testing and Experimentation: A strong understanding of A/B testing methodologies and statistical analysis.
- Spreadsheet Proficiency: Advanced skills in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel for data analysis and modeling.
Mandatory Non-Technical Skills:
- Analytical Mindset: The ability to think critically, analyze data, and draw actionable conclusions.
- Problem-Solving Skills: A knack for identifying problems, developing hypotheses, and designing experiments to find solutions.
- Excellent Communication: The ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex data insights to a variety of audiences.
- Curiosity and Eagerness to Learn: A passion for understanding user behavior and a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest trends in growth marketing and AI.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: The ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Attention to Detail: A high level of accuracy and precision in data analysis and reporting.
Education Qualification and Certifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 2-4 years of experience in a growth marketing, product analytics, or data analyst role, preferably within the technology or AI industry.
- Proven track record of using data to drive significant user growth and business impact.
- (Optional but Recommended) Certifications in Google Analytics, Google Ads, or other relevant marketing analytics platforms.
Pay:
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Fractal, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $120,000 - $175,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus for the current performance period.
Benefits:
As a full-time employee of the company or as an hourly employee working more than 30 hours per week, you will be eligible to participate in the health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability plans in accordance with the plan documents, which may be amended from time to time. You will be eligible for benefits on the first day of employment with the Company. In addition, you are eligible to participate in the Company 401(k) Plan after 30 days of employment, in accordance with the applicable plan terms. The Company provides for 11 paid holidays and 12 weeks of Parental Leave. We also follow a “free time” PTO policy, allowing you the flexibility to take the time needed for either sick time or vacation.
