Business Intelligence Senior Manager

Role Summary
This role seeks a seasoned Data and Business Intelligence Engineer with deep commercial banking expertise. You will lead the design, development, and maintenance of end-to-end reporting and analytics solutions—transforming large, complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for loan operations, syndication, servicing, pricing, payments, multi-currency lending, and guarantees.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess existing ACBS platform, data system and infra to define migration scope of data / applications where required
- Lead data quality assessments, validation, and reconciliation during system migrations (LoanIQ, ACBS Libor change, etc.).
- Develop and optimize ETL pipelines and data workflows to ensure accuracy, consistency, and performance.
- Work across various engineering principles including requirements gathering, analysis, design, coding, development, testing, implementation and support
- Migrate existing reporting suites to new platforms: analyze requirements, streamline processes, and validate outputs.
- Establish and govern reporting frameworks and MI Centre of Excellence standards.
- Design and deliver advanced BI systems and data visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, and SQL.
- Create automated dashboards, exception reports, and executive summaries that drive data-informed decision-making.
- Manage ACBS reporting via Business Objects and back-end data feeds across the lending lifecycle.
- Coach and mentor junior analysts to deliver timely, relevant, and high-quality reporting.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide training, and document processes.
Required Skills and Experience
- 10+ years’ experience in commercial banking data analysis, reporting, engineering or BI roles.
- In-depth knowledge of ACBS Commercial Banking Platform (front-end and back-end).
- Strong data quality, governance, and reconciliation expertise.
- Expert proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Tableau, and Business Objects.
- Proven track record of leading MI/BI teams or Centres of Excellence.
- Demonstrated experience with large-scale system migrations and report rebuilds.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
- Knowledge of advanced scripting (Python, R) or big-data tools.
