There is an opportunity for this to be a full-time teleworking position. Work arrangements will be discussed with hiring managers per departmental guidelines.

As Senior Analyst, Social SEO, you will be responsible for optimizing Radio-Canada properties on external platforms to generate engagement and drive traffic to our proprietary platforms. You will work closely with the editorial and SEO teams to analyze search performance data, identify trends and communicate opportunities for content creation and optimization. You will also be responsible for driving engagement around Radio-Canada content on platforms like Reddit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop content optimization strategies for external platforms (TikTok, YouTube, App Store, Wikipedia, etc.).
  • Work on the overall Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategy to optimize our content for LLMs.
  • Perform competitive audits and analysis to identify market opportunities.
  • Monitor search trends and conduct keyword and intent research.
  • Develop and provide regular performance reports.
  • Monitor changes made to search engine and external platform algorithms and adjust SEO strategies accordingly.
  • Monitor the latest news and developments regarding SEO, GEO and social platforms, and share them across the organization.
  • Help share best SEO practices within teams.

What You Bring

  • University degree in a relevant field.
  • Five years’ SEO, community management or content strategy experience in a digital organization.
  • Knowledge of SEO and GEO best practices.
  • Good knowledge of social platforms.
  • Knowledge of AI and automation tools.
  • Experience working in a media organization an asset.
  • Excellent command of written French.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Analytics.
  • Knowledge of Google Workspace tools.

Please note this is a 12-month contract position, renewable annually. This regular position is not a consulting assignment but a long-term opportunity with attractive CBC/Radio-Canada employee benefits.
