We're looking for a Technical Data Product Manager to join our Data Department in our Tallinn office. Your new adventure:
- Collaborate with analytics, revenue, and engineering teams to gather ideas and identify business cases, shaping a value-driven data product portfolio and roadmap
- Oversee and facilitate the prioritization of data initiatives, aligning them with strategic goals and stakeholder needs, and managing comprehensive stakeholder engagement
- Develop, align, and communicate the data roadmap and deliverables, managing changes and expectations efficiently
- Work closely with engineering teams to assess technical feasibility and gather resources and cost estimates for data initiatives, but also respond to the immediate questions
- Act as the voice of the customer within the team, ensuring their needs are clearly understood and the team builds well-received solutions and adds clear value to the business
- Manage the data product backlog, driving the full lifecycle of data solutions from ideation, development to retirement
- Lead and contribute to various data governance initiatives, such as data architecture, stewardship, and quality ownership
- Promote data literacy and best practices across the organization, facilitating the training and onboarding of internal customers to use our data platform and tools effectively
Does this sound like you?
- Proficient knowledge of data and analytics concepts, including a solid understanding of the principles underpinning data platforms, tools, and solutions
- Experience in developing or managing internal data and analytics solutions, with a minimum of 2 years as a product manager, or extensive experience as a lead data engineer or a technical business stakeholder significantly involved in the development of such solutions
- Proficient data handling and analytical skills to efficiently drive product lifecycle management
- Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills, facilitating effective interactions and consensus among diverse teams, ensuring clear direction and teamwork across all lifecycle phases
- Experienced in agile solution and software development practices, enhancing team efficiency and product adaptability through flexible planning and continuous improvement
- Advanced communication skills, with the capability to clearly and accurately explain complex technical and business concepts in English
- Educational background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
