About the Role:
As a Manager of the Data Management APJ 1 Team, you will co-lead a team of 33 Professionals with 18 direct reports who are responsible for Employee Data Administration of 30 000+ Employees in APAC region. Your main focus will be on India and several additional APAC countries. The position is responsible to deliver superior consumer experiences, 100 % data and service quality according to SLAs and internal procedures, at the same time increasing the efficiency of our services and solutions, looking for appropriate simplification, standardization, process optimization and continuous innovation. The incumbent will work very closely with all HR functions to meet this ambition. Furthermore, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of the SAP People Agenda, which covers also the Technical Roadmap and role model our Growth culture.
Day to Day Tasks:
• Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team: Navigate a complex landscape of technical, process, and data challenges while adhering to stringent legal and internal standards.
• Ensure Operational Excellence: Plan and monitor resource needs to ensure stable operations, manage onboarding processes, and distribute workloads effectively to meet business objectives.
• Foster Team Growth: Regularly evaluate and discuss team members' performance, providing meaningful feedback to help them develop their full potential and talents.
• Strategic Visioning: Build and continuously evolve a holistic vision and strategy to achieve organizational and transformational goals
• Manage the overall scope of DMT processes, tools, and projects.
• Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain a strong professional network and partnerships with all stakeholders to ensure collaboration and alignment.
• Positive Brand Building: Enhance the reputation and brand of our P&C Global Data Management team both internally and externally.
Role Requirements:
• Strong business and people leadership skills to guide change.
• Well balanced mix of innovative and operational execution capabilities with a proven track record in both areas.
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience in people management, human resource administration in an international shared service environment.
• Passionate for People Development, Data Management, Data Harmonization and data-driven decision making
• Experience with Project Management
• Strategic and conceptual thinking, result-oriented, analytical and critical-thinking skills
• Innovative mindset, function agnostic end-to-end thinking, can-do attitude
• Agile mindset, questioning and challenging the status quo, innovative
• Strong communication skills, relationship building, positive influencer
• University Degree
