We are looking for a skilled and motivated Business Analyst, Insights and Research to join our data-driven team. This role involves market, competitor, and customer analysis, optimizing customer journeys, and driving strategic decisions through insights and analytics. You will analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and customer behavior to provide strategic recommendations that shape business growth. Your insights will empower Consumer Solutions with actionable data, improving performance across the Nordics. You will develop automated reports for situational awareness and performance monitoring, working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance customer journeys and processes. Your expertise will contribute to shaping the next generation of customer experience and influencing key business decisions. Our purpose is to Inform, Inspire, and Challenge through data and insights.

This role is part of a Nordic team of six and reports to the Director, Insight and Customer Journey Orchestration.

 

About the role

  • Development of insights and analytics solutions that support informed, data-driven decision-making in Consumer Solution and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Manage the MEC unit’s Power BI app and Forsta (customer feedback system) including the underlying data model, ensuring data quality, accessibility and availability.
  • Use our main sources of insights to collect, analyse and interpret information that can be used to retain and acquire new consumers.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to identify customer-centric opportunities, areas of improvement and share best practices.
  • Provide training and support to end-users, fostering a culture of insight-driven decision-making.
  • Drive innovation by exploring new technologies, methodologies, and machine learning techniques to enhance analytics capabilities.
  • Contribute to our common success in personalization at scale and segmentation

About you

  • Higher relevant education, preferably in technology or economics, with an emphasis on quantitative subjects.
  • Work experience in relevant field, with proven track-record of creating business growth or improved collaboration through commercial analysis and visualization of data.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, including advanced DAX, M-languages, data modelling, and report optimization.
  • Strong expertise in SQL and experience with data warehouses or data lakes. Knowledge of other programming languages (e.g. Python) with experience in Databricks is preferred, but not required.
  • Capabilities and experience working with machine learning and the application of AI is a plus, but not required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in a Nordic language is advantageous.
