Data Analyst Apprenticeship

In this apprenticeship, you will follow a Data Analyst pathway, learning and working on developing our business data modelling and reporting needs, ensuring it aligns with business activities and processes. Data analysis is a process of requirement-gathering, inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modelling data with the goal of discovering useful information, informing conclusions, and supporting decision-making. Data analysis plays a crucial role in making decisions more evidence-based and helping organisations operate more effectively. Understanding the power of data and what we can learn from it to benefit our business, the role will be current on data trends, documenting business requirements and data model designs.

A 30-month learning programme, following the data analyst standard, achieving a Level 4 qualification and all the practical experience alongside to be working in a business intelligence role from day 1.

Working from our Head Office in Peterborough, 5-days per week, Monday-Friday and attending college 1 day per month. Candidates must be able to travel to the workplace and to attend College.

The scheme gives you the opportunity to:

• Gain a solid knowledge of delivering data & analytics information systems, tools, and processes.
• Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Azure Data Products, including Azure Data Factory, Azure DataBricks, Power BI.
• Business Analysis, data modelling techniques and ETL Development.
• Understand the systems designs, development, and validation of descriptive, perspective and analytics.
• Develop the behavioural skills to be a great team member.

What will you need?

• Be aged 18 years or over as at 1st of September 2024.
• Be living and eligible to work in the UK.
• Have at least 5 GCSEs at grade 4/C which must include Maths, English.
• Have at least 2 A Levels or equivalent at grade A-C (Any subject)
