Job Description
We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Asset Performance and Optimization Team of Ignitis Renewables, where youâll lead the Performance Data Analysis function to ensure timely and reliable asset performance insights that support data-driven technical and commercial decision-making across the portfolio. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Leading and managing a team of Performance Data Analysts, ensuring effective performance and resource planning, competency development, and high employee satisfaction and retention
- Establishing, managing, and continuously improving processes within the Performance Data Analytics function, including coordination across teams, departments, and external stakeholders
- Contributing to the continuous development and execution of the O&M and Technical Asset Management strategy
- Ensuring that performance data analytics are delivered in a timely, reliable, and high-quality manner
- Reporting portfolio-level KPIs to both internal and external stakeholders, and aligning on evolving reporting needs and their implementation
- Driving the development and improvement of analytics and reporting solutions for both historic and forecasted asset performance
- Conducting ad-hoc analytical studies to support strategic and operational decisions with data-driven insights
- Identifying trends of underperformance across the renewable energy portfolio and raising them for action and improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
- An academic degree in Data Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, IT, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics or a similar role, ideally within the renewable energy sector or O&M provider organisations
- Proven experience in leading and managing analytical or engineering teams, including performance management, professional development, and employee satisfaction
- Deep understanding of statistical methods and the ability to apply them to large datasets
- Proficiency in data analytics tools and systems used for asset performance evaluation
- Skilled in data visualization, with the ability to present findings clearly and effectively using tools such as Power BI
- At least a basic understanding of renewable energy systems and their operational context
- Advanced user of MS Office
- Fluency in English and strong communication skills to align with both team members and management.
