So, what's the job?

We are seeking a Marketing Data Analyst to join our Data Team. In this role, you will be at the core of our marketing efforts, ensuring data-driven decision-making by addressing the Marketing team’s data requirements and conducting impactful analyses. You’ll provide actionable insights, and contribute to optimizing marketing strategies, performance, and campaigns. This is a highly visible and strategic role that offers the opportunity to shape the company’s marketing efforts through robust data analysis.

You will:

  • Serve as the data focal point for the Marketing team, understanding their needs and translating them into actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, dashboards, and performance reports to track key marketing KPIs, such as conversion rates, return on ad spend (ROAS), and cost per conversion (CPA).
  • Conduct research and ad-hoc analysis to uncover trends, measure campaign effectiveness, and optimize marketing performance (i.e., user journey, attribution models).
  • Analyze marketing funnels, user behaviors, and experiments to provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across teams (Marketing, Product, Finance, R&D) to align on objectives, share findings, and inform decisions.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and marketing analytics best practices to continuously enhance our analytical capabilities.

Sounds great! Am I the right fit?

Well, our guess is you have a good chance of being that person if you check as many of these as possible:

  • 5+ years of proven experience in marketing analytics or a related field.
  • Extensive experience writing SQL to query large-scale, complex datasets with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Strong grasp of statistical concepts like regression, hypothesis testing, statistical significance, and time series analysis.
  • A proactive approach, capable of identifying opportunities for improvement and driving initiatives forward.
  • A team-player mindset with the ability to collaborate across departments and build strong working relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Working experience with BI Front tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau etc..) to create clear, actionable dashboards and reports.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in funnel analysis, campaign performance evaluation, and customer segmentation.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and is passionate about leveraging data to shape marketing strategies and outcomes.
