We are looking for the Head of Audit Ecosystems, Governance and Support, Managing Director, who will lead the development and implementation of data governance practices and a platform strategy for Corporate Audit adhering to the enterprise data standards of care. In this role, you will influence and develop a target operating model, strategic plans, simplification and standardization of data, elevate data capabilities within audit, develop road maps for audit tooling, design and simplify for driving data-based auditing for greater impact and efficiency. As a key component of the strategy for continuous improvement in Corporate Audit, the digital, analytics and innovation team provides analytics-based services and solutions, both modeling and data analytics, in support of Corporate Audit’s independent risk assessment and assurance work. In addition, the team advises and provides tools, dashboards and analysis that can be leveraged to manage the Corporate Audit Department.

What you will be responsible for
As Head of Audit Ecosystems, Governance and Support, Managing Director you will:
- Define and implement a data governance model to instill confidence in data driven insights that enable data transparency, re-use and data provenance.
- Partner with IT to define Corporate Audit’s data and analytics future state architecture.
- Partner with IT to establish and implement one Audit Intelligence data platform with an overarching governance and security model while enabling self-serve capabilities.
- Define, evolve and implement Corporate Audit’s technology capabilities by leveraging approved organizational technology solutions.
- Build collaborative relationships with audit colleagues and partners in other lines of defense to effectively advance the use and impact of data analytics to strengthen the company’s risk and control environment.
- Partner with IT and the Chief Data Office to establish and enforce data policies and standards aligning to the enterprise. This includes lineage, metadata, data modeling, access controls and encryption.
- Manage a professional team of data specialists to provide thought leadership and advise Corporate Audit stakeholders on analytical solutions to address assurance needs.
- Partner with IT to develop a “one-stop-shop” for technology and tool support model.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders across the firm to stay abreast of changes to the data architecture and platform, and source new data for use in Corporate Audit.
- Manage, coach, develop and inspire colleagues and team members.
- Proactively engage in solving complex issues and engage in projects that may extend beyond own area of expertise.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of managerial experience, with strong track record of leading, coaching, developing and motivating a team of data specialists.
- 10+ years of architecture and data governance experience in large financial institutions.
- 10+ years of analytics experience using tools or languages such as SQL, Tableau and Python.
- Solid understanding of financial risk management practices, processes and controls and regulations on credit risk, counterparty credit, market risk, liquidity risk and operational risk.
- Solid understanding of data policy, data ethics and data sharing arrangements with strong negotiation skills.
- Experience in machine learning models and big data.
- Advanced understanding of data processes and controls, associated risks, data governance models.
- Internal Audit experience.
- Proven track record of continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in related field such as Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, MIS, Finance, Accounting and Engineering.
