Overview
Partner with business and infra divisions in global and the US COO team to implement and build out CDEs, Data Lineage, Authoritative Data Sources and Data Controls. Work with Chief Data Officer (CDO) colleagues globally to update the requirements and definition of done within Core Data Management Standards (CDMS). Work with the RDARR team in US CDO to control and monitor the current BCBS239 scope and keep it aligned to global processes.

What You’ll Do
Partners with Divisional Data Officers (DDOs) to identify and build inventory of CDEs, Data Lineage, Authoritative Data Sources and Data Controls
Designs and implement reporting to articulate progress of data management capabilities adoption and impact data disk for the region
Supports interface with the regulators and supporting regulatory exams on questions related to CDO metadata
Supports build-out of Data Quality Testing capabilities working with Divisional Data Officers and US Data Consumers
Scope includes all relevant areas of US business, including Business units and Infrastructure function such as Risk, Finance and Treasury, Work with the RDARR team in US CDO to control and monitor the current BCBS239 scope and keep it aligned to global processes
Drives migration of existing US Data Management capabilities to global tooling upon implementation
How You’ll Lead
Lead the day-to-day interaction with DDOs in the design and build of CDMS capabilities in CUSO
Lead the day-to-day interaction with the divisional and infra leads to build the artifacts to support CDMS
Create and Maintain MI and key performance indicator (KPIs) to demonstrate progress in these CDMS capabilities
Skills You’ll Need
Advanced experience in a position of increasing responsibility within a Global Investment Bank. (Finance, including Treasury or Risk or within related functions such as Technology or Data office)
Experience Data Governance frameworks at a large and complex financial institution and/ or front-to-back data supply chain as well as managing inventory of Data Controls
Strong understanding of, and direct experience with Data related topics such as Data elements, lineage, data controls and similar concepts
Strong project management and project delivery experience with demonstrated experience designing and implementing Data Management KPIs
B.S. degree required and in a related subject

Demonstrated desire to add significant value within a fast-paced environment
Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $125,000 to $183,500. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
