Under the direction of the Senior Manager of HRIS, the Lead HRIS Specialist will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of the HRIS (Workday) system, including reporting, testing, and providing general support while maintaining the confidentiality of all Club business. The position will play a key role in developing and implementing Workday integrations and SharePoint solutions to meet business needs. The Lead HRIS Specialist will collaborate closely with the Senior Manager of HRIS, to gather requirements, design, develop, test, and deploy Workday integrations and SharePoint solutions. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is able to work both independently and as part of a larger team both within HR and the larger organization.

Essential Functions of the Job

  • Leads updates for the annual Tournament maintenance process, which include  recruiting, onboarding, hiring, and termination.
  • Updates termination dates on integrations and reports that are set to expire each year in order to prevent a lapse in the integrations and access to reports.
  • Assesses, resolves, and takes action on tier-one issues through the HRIS Workday Ticketing System support.
  • Create a centralized repository of management reports that can be accessed by all leaders to effectively manage their staff, as well as create, edit, and prepare any customized reports requested by leaders
  • Assists with coordinating the Pulse Survey function to include updating questions for the survey, sending out to all employees, pulling results, and preparing reports for the Senior Director of Total Rewards and Chief People Officer.
  • Uploads standard EIBs for Tournaments and Clubs when required.
  • Creates instructional materials or job aids to help employees effectively utilize the functionalities available in Workday and learn its processes.
  • Assist in the analysis and evaluation of HR business requirements, while ensuring that the hardware and software solutions meet the needs of end-users and data management.
  • Modifies existing programs to collect and present data as required.
  • Verifies the accuracy and maintains the integrity of the database.
  • Gathers and organizes documentation for program development and any subsequent modifications.
  • Provides training to team members on their assigned responsibilities and how to effectively complete tasks.
  • Ensures the smooth and effective operation of processes, programs, and projects.
  • Develop, test and deploy Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIBs, and other integration tools.
  • Develop custom integrations using Workday Studio, XML, XSLT, and web services.
  • Write, test and debug code to ensure seamless integration between Workday and other systems.
  • Develop custom SharePoint solutions using JavaScript, and other tools.
  • Configure and maintain SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, and workflows.
  • Monitor integrations and SharePoint solutions and troubleshoot issues to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand and implement business requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to end-users on integrations and SharePoint solutions, while documenting the integrations and technical specifications.

Physical Demands

  • Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties such as but not limited to: preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading
  • Occasionally required to walk and work with hands and arms, lift up to 25 pounds and/or drive a golf cart.
  • Constantly required to sit, sometimes for several hours at a time, and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.

Qualifications:

        Skills/Knowledge/Attributes:

  • Strong technical skills in Workday Studio, EIBs, XML, XSLT, and web services.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Understanding of HR business processes and data management.
  • Ability to gather requirements, design, develop, test, and deploy Workday integrations and/or SharePoint solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in developing written materials such as questionnaires, surveys, etc.
  • Proficiency in fundamental statistics, research methodologies, data organization, and presentation techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to adopt new concepts and drive positive change.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills as well as strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in using Windows-based applications such as Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.

Relative Experience/Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • 2 – 4 years of professional work experience required; background in general Human Resources, IT or Consultant field preferred.
  • General understanding of HR systems is required, with experience in general human resources practices being preferred.
  • Experience with Workday HCM Module is strongly preferred
  • Experience with SharePoint administration, including configuring and maintaining SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, and workflows.

Required License(s):

  • Possess a valid driver’s license and/or successfully completes the Club’s internal motor vehicle training program

Projected Work Schedule:

Regular work hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
