Join our team as Data Architect to support Marketing & Sales business functions creating and maintaining architectural best practices to address application, data and technology in the context of business processes across the division and within the context of existing architectures and standards. Define and maintain the Nissan Digital Technology Stack (DTS) and architectural patterns, participate in Enterprise Review Board (ERB) meetings and support peers within Nissan Digital as needed to solve business problems with digital capabilities and solutions.
You will:
- Supports efforts to achieve architecture compliance with Nissan standards and government regulations.
- Documents all data architecture design and analysis work in accordance with corporate standards.
- Improves processes by the application of relevant research data and/or personal experiences.
- Assists with the development of implementation plans for key aspects of architecture within the sphere of influence (domain, infrastructure or enterprise) based on business requirements and IT strategies focused specifically on the architectural area of expertise.
- Suggests the selection of preferred technologies within specified area of expertise.
- Conducts analysis of technology industry and market trends to determine their potential impact on the existing architecture at Nissan.
- Conducts the development of logical and physical data models and compliance to all data architecture standards, naming conventions, and EA governance.
- Acts in an advisory role on complex projects, and ensures projects maintain an enterprise-wide view of data and context.
You Need:
- 5 to 7 years of experience working in cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams within a Global organization as Data Architect.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Advanced English Level.
- Experience with DevOps toolchains, delivery, agile and DevOps environments.
- Familiarity with development best practices to ensure end-to-end fit and design.
- Understanding of architectural design patterns and best practices to address application, data and technology in the context of business processes within the context of existing and new architectures and standards.
- Knowledge of integration patterns, technologies and when to use each, such as: ESB, API managers, event-based, messaging and data streaming architectures.
- Knowledge of the following tools: AWS Platform Services, AWS native cloud and managed services, Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, UDB and/or Mainframe Databases (ADABAS, IMS, DB2), Master Data Management, ETL, Erwin, Data Modeling.
