Who are we?
Ready to build Amazon's next $100B business? The SWA Business Analytics team is the backbone of data, analytics, and business insights for Amazon Shipping. We're not just crunching numbers—we're revolutionizing how data drives decision-making across a global shipping network. By evolving Amazon's legendary analytics capabilities into an agile, intelligent insights engine, we're creating a data ecosystem that continuously optimizes to deliver actionable intelligence for every business unit and every customer. Every insight we generate is more than just a metric—it spins the flywheel faster, continuously enhancing our shipping network through scale, speed, and intelligence. As we increase our analytical capabilities and reach, we're transforming data-driven decision making for ALL aspects of Amazon Shipping while simultaneously strengthening Amazon's overall logistics capabilities—reducing costs and accelerating growth across our entire ecosystem.

What will you do?
We're hiring a Manager, Business Analytics who will enhance our ability to deliver data-driven insights with speed and accuracy. Your mission is to create clear pathways for teams to rapidly transform raw data into working solutions while maintaining transparency across our organization. You'll design and implement sophisticated analytics frameworks for worldwide operations, including Commercial Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, Customer Support, and Sustainability. You'll coordinate essential analytics activities in ways that keep teams focused on business outcomes rather than just data processing. You'll partner with data engineering and tech teams to establish consistent data pipelines and analytics tools that drive accountability while preserving the creativity and autonomy that leads to business innovation. In this role, you'll balance the need for structured analytics with the imperative to maintain customer obsession as we grow, ensuring we can deliver insights with the speed and reliability our business partners expect. You'll also lead the charge in elevating our reporting capabilities through advanced data tools, including artificial intelligence solutions such as Amazon Q.

Who are you?
You're an experienced analytics leader who has successfully implemented effective frameworks that enable teams to rapidly deliver data-driven insights across complex organizations. You understand that well-designed analytics processes should accelerate business-focused innovation rather than constrain it, and you have a proven track record of increasing analytical accuracy and relevance without creating unnecessary complexity. You have deep experience in business analytics or data science management, with demonstrated success in harmonizing data processes while keeping business outcomes at the center. You should be comfortable refining analytics approaches to focus more directly on business impact, and introducing new methodologies that deliver better insights faster. As this role involves regular interaction with senior leadership, you can translate complex data concepts into clear business terms. The ideal candidate has a history of improving cross-functional collaboration, increasing responsiveness to business needs, and creating organizational clarity in rapidly scaling data environments. You're a thoughtful enabler who measures success by how effectively teams leverage data to drive business growth, maintaining the right balance between analytical rigor and practical application.
