- Develop block diagrams, controlled-impedance schematics, and multi-board PCB layouts; lead design reviews and incorporate feedback in real time.
- Model mechanical components such as test fixtures and thermal hardware in SolidWorks; size heatsinks, fans, and safety interlocks for 24/7 unattended operation.
Build & Procurement
- Generate BOMs, panelization files, and Gerbers/ODB++; manage procurement, kitting, and contract manufacturer (CM) builds.
- Perform precision hand-soldering of micro-coax, 0201 passives, and BGA rework when needed.
- Monitor vendor schedules and escalate risks related to delivery, DPPM, or regulatory deadlines.
Bring-Up, Automation & Data Science

- Apply statistical techniques (e.g., distribution fitting, hypothesis testing, Cp/Cpk, PCA) to identify and resolve yield issues early in the development cycle.
RF & Regulatory Compliance
- Design, simulate, and match antennas for Wi-Fi, BLE, sub-GHz ISM, and cellular bands; validate performance using VNA, spectrum analyzers, and OTA chambers.
- Lead end-to-end regulatory compliance efforts (FCC/ISED/ETSI/CTIA/UL), including test planning, margin analysis, and submission documentation.
- Maintain version-controlled schematics, scripts, SOPs, and torque specifications; ensure documentation reflects real-time changes.
- Adapt fixture and RF designs mid-cycle in response to evolving product requirements without impacting delivery timelines.
