UI and UX Specialist

The Opportunity:

Are you looking to transform the way a user interacts with web applications? You know that a good tool, system, or site is more than just the code, infrastructure, and a nice-looking interface—it’s the way it addresses a user’s needs. As a UX strategist, you put yourself in the user’s place to understand the best ways they can engage with the tool, system, or site. We’re looking for someone creative like you to develop the ultimate user experience.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with UX designers and product managers to understand your clients’ vision and their users’ needs. Working on an Agile team, you’ll act as a storyteller, translating research into actionable user insights. You’ll lead the full spectrum of the digital creative process, including user research, information architecture, rapid prototyping, interface design, usability testing, and product implementation and development. Your experience with user research, information architecture, rapid prototyping, interface design, usability testing, and product implementation and development will help you advocate for the prioritizations of design-centered changes, refinements, and improvements while keeping the end-user at the center of your work.

Are you ready to help our clients meet their mission by keeping the warfighter safe and supporting national security?

Join us. The world can’t wait.

  • Experience connecting to Oracle databases and APIs to read or write data

  • Experience with Oracle, SQL, React.js, Plotly, Dash, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript

  • Experience working within Gitlab

  • Ability to perform user management tasks

  • Ability to interact directly with multiple users to collect and integrate feedback into UI or UX design

  • TS/SCI clearance
