Role Objective The Data Analyst plays a key role in transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive strategic decisions and improve business outcomes. As part of a fast-evolving organization, analysts in this role have a direct impact on how the company operates and how customers experience its services. This role is not only about analyzing information—it also demands curiosity, initiative, and the courage to explore solutions to challenges that are not always obvious. In this intermediate-level position, you will investigate which data and methods best answer each question, including situations where information may be incomplete or uncertain. Success requires analytical rigor and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality analytics solutions that strengthen both performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

● Collaboration: Work with business and technical stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document functional requirements.

● Impact Evaluation: Support the design and interpretation of business impact analyses using methods such as A/B testing, pre-post comparisons, and control group analyses.

● Analytical Capacity: Use SQL, Python or equivalent tools to extract, clean, and analyze data from multiple systems.

● Problem Investigation: Determine which data sources and analytical approaches best address each problem, identifying creative ways to obtain the necessary information.

● Requirements Definition: Document business objectives and the logical design of data models and consumption architectures to enable precise collaboration with engineering and analytics teams.

● Agile Documentation: Register and document tasks under agile methodologies, including user stories and acceptance criteria. Maintain up-to-date records of data ingestion workflows, analysis logic, and research approaches to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing.

● Solution Delivery: Work closely with product, engineering, and data governance teams to deliver solutions aligned with enterprise-approved standards and certified frameworks.

● Insight Communication: Influence business decisions by translating data insights into clear recommendations and aligning stakeholders through compelling storytelling.

● Continuous Learning: Proactively build expertise in tools and methods that strengthen your analytical impact.

Required Knowledge and Experience

● 2–4 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or similar roles.

● Proficiency in SQL and experience working with structured datasets.

● Understanding of cloud-based data architecture and ingestion processes.

● Experience with at least one BI/visualization tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).

● Experience with impact evaluation methods such as A/B testing, pre-post analysis, control group comparisons, or causal inference frameworks for experiments evaluation.

 ● Experience with Python for data manipulation, exploration, and visualization.

● Desirable: knowledge of query performance optimization techniques.

● Ability to proactively identify business challenges and independently propose on-demand analytical solutions, recommending the most suitable data sources and methods even when information is incomplete or ambiguous.

● Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving mindset, and openness to continuous learning.

● Ability to translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations that improve customer experience and operational results

Musts

  • Previous experience in the financial services or retail industries, preferably in fintech or digital product companies.

  • Experience handling acquisition and activation data, including cohort and conversion analysis, as well as acquisition, retention, and activation campaigns.

  • Familiarity with standard acquisition and activation KPIs, including CAC, ROAS, LTV, CTR, and Conversion Rate.

Nice to Have

  • Experience or knowledge of attribution models such as MMM (Marketing Mix Model), last-click, first-click, and linear.

  • Functional knowledge of digital marketing.

  • Functional knowledge of loyalty programs.
