  • Lead the enterprise data management operating model and facilitate cross-functional governance councils. Serve as the enterprise governance point of contact for divisional and functional data governance leaders.
  • Champion data literacy, data ownership and stewardship through training and communication programs across all business units and functions.
  • Act as a visible leader in creating a data-driven culture and promoting accountability at all levels while driving change.
  • Regularly report on data governance metrics and establish KPIs to measure effectiveness.

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or related areas.
  • Demonstrated success implementing data governance programs at scale within complex or regulated environments.
  • Strong understanding of data quality management, metadata management, and stewardship models, data management practices and technologies (e.g., data warehousing, data lakes, ETL processes).
  • Proficiency in data management tools (e.g., Alation, Informatica, SAP MDG) and technologies (e.g., data warehousing, ETL processes).

Desired Skills:

  • Strong leadership, relationship-building, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to drive change in complex, matrixed environments.
  • Analytical and problem-solving expertise with experience in data governance projects.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate data governance concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
