About the Position

We are looking for a Decision Scientist to join our Business Insurance team and help shape smarter, more data-informed strategies across the organization. This is a unique opportunity for someone who sits at the intersection of data science, business strategy, and insurance underwriting. This is a role ideal for professionals who are analytically driven but also thrive when solving business problems from a high-level perspective.

In this role, you won’t be responsible for building models, but understand them, interpret their outputs, and translate complex analytics into actionable recommendations for underwriting leadership. Working closely with Data Scientists, you'll be instrumental in shaping the frameworks, insights, and processes that drive profitability and efficiency in policy underwriting.

Requirements

• 3 to 6 years of experience
• Experience with SQL
• Experience with DataViz tools (Power BI or Tableau)
• Knowledge/experience with underwriting

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud computing (AWS/GCP)
