Data Analyst Co-Op/Intern

Where will you work:

FishHawk site located in Lithia, FL

Housing and relocation can be provided for qualified candidates.

The Data Analyst Co-Op/Intern is responsible for   creating business analytics and reporting on  structured and unstructured data of our business functions (and cross functions... eg: Commercials, Finance, IT, Supply chain, Operations). The DA will utilize various supervised, self-supervised and unsupervised learning techniques to draw insight and gain predictive power to mission critical KPI’s that drive business objectives. Our student opportunities allow you to learn from professionals in your field, offers competitive pay, a relocation package and opportunity to work with a global leader on exciting projects and much more.   

Term 

January 12 - April 24, 2026. 

Full time Co-Op/Internship. Typically, 36-40 hours a week. Hybrid, 2-3 days on site.

9/80 schedule if applicable

What will you do? 

Day to day work assignments assigned by the supervisor and could include:

  • Develop, quality test, and deploy reporting.    

  • Provide analytics to support data validation and manage data changes functionally.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide specific data analytics/reporting for adhoc business optimization projects.

  • Summarize and present information to inform leaders to influence business decisions.   

  • Comply with Environmental Health/Safety, operations and other business requirements.   

  • Engage in self-development to enrich your skillset to fulfill your career aspirations.   

  • ​Adhering to Mosaic’s mission, guiding principles and priorities, and key competencies

What do you need for this role?

  • Sophomore level by January 2026 or higher pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or Statistics.  

  • ​Working knowledge of Tensorflow, Pytorch, Sklearn  is preferred

  • Familiarity with cloud computing platform (Azure, AWS, GCP) is preferred  

  • Experience with MLOps tools (Azure DevOps. AzureML) is a plus 

  • 2.75 GPA or higher 

  • 1-2 years of experience volunteering, working with student/school organizations, or work is preferred.

  • Previous internship or co-op experience is preferred.

  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license - You will need to be able to travel to and from sites and/or office.

  • Ability to work full time and be a student in standing at the time of the co-op/internship

  • Selected candidates will be required to successfully complete the following: Post-offer/pre-placement drug and alcohol screening, background check, physical, functional capacity examination.

  • Basic computer skills are required.

  • Experience working in a team environment is a must.

  • Familiarity with an industrial environment is highly desirable.

  • Effective verbal communication skills is a plus.

  • Physical work environment is occasionally outdoors with exposure to varying degrees of hot and cold environments.

  • Selected candidates will be required to successfully complete the following: Post-offer/pre-placement drug and alcohol screening, background check, physical, functional capacity examination.

  • Basic computer skills are required.

  • Experience working in a team environment is a must.

  • Familiarity with an industrial environment is highly desirable.
