We have an exciting opportunity to join our Goods Not For Resale (GNFR) Procurement team as a Procurement Data and Insight Analyst.   It’s a vital role for the function utilising your analytical skills to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across categories and suppliers.

We’re on a journey to transform the way procurement works here at Asda, meaning you’ll be at the heart of decision-making in a team that manages over £2.5bn of spend and is on a journey to become a best-in-class function. 

 

Your Role

  • Analyse procurement data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across categories and suppliers.
  • Develop, own and maintain procurement dashboards and visualisations using PowerBI
  • Conduct spend analysis and support cost optimisation initiatives.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across procurement systems and reports.
  • Support the implementation of procurement analytics tools and systems.
  • Create automated reporting solutions to streamline procurement operations.

 

 

Let's find out about you” 

  • Proficient in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and Excel (pivot tables, macros, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large data sets.
  • Working knowledge of procurement systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver actionable insights in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Power Suite (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)
