As a People Analytics Specialist at PropertyGuru, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging people data to drive key business decisions and strategic initiatives. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and visualize critical people metrics such as headcount demographics, attrition, hiring trends, and talent movement. Your insights will directly contribute to workforce planning, talent management, and broader strategic decision-making across the organization.

The focus of this role will be on using advanced data analysis techniques and reporting tools such as Python, Power BI, Excel, and Workday (Workday Report Writer experience is preferred). By transforming raw data into actionable insights, you will empower leaders to make informed decisions about workforce strategies, ensuring that the right people are in the right roles to meet business objectives.

An HR background is optional, and your strength in data analysis and insights will be crucial in this role. You will help PropertyGuru maintain a data-driven approach to workforce planning and talent management.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the People Analytics team to analyze people data and provide insights that influence key business decisions.
  • Prepare regular HR reports on key metrics such as headcount, turnover, recruitment, and diversity using tools like Power BI and Excel.
  • Utilize Workday Report Writer to create, modify, and analyze reports to support data-driven decision-making within HR.
  • Leverage Python for predictive analytics to forecast trends and improve workforce planning.
  • Develop clear and effective data visualizations that make complex information accessible for stakeholders.
  • Support data requests from requirement gathering to solution delivery, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Ensure data integrity by monitoring, cleaning, and maintaining the quality of data used for analysis and reporting.

Requirement

  • 2-3 years of experience in a data analysis or analytics role, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analysis, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Excel, Python, SQL, and Power BI.
  • Experience with Workday Report Writer is preferred: Ability to generate and modify reports in Workday to support workforce planning and HR decision-making.
  • Knowledge of HR processes is a plus but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present data clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to working with sensitive and confidential data responsibly.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn, adapt to new tools and technologies, and a "get things done" mindset.
