We are seeking a lead Strategic Systems Architect to lead the specification and development of a new product class based on low latency, high bandwidth connected platforms for use in semiconductor manufacturing and development. This role will oversee the implementation and optimization of data analytics software, manage data projects, and partner with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights that guide business performance and growth. This is a new program at Nova and an opportunity to be a foundational member of transformative effort. This person will be reporting to the Corporate Vice President and Sr. management team member.
Pay Range: $180,000- $220,000 Annually (DOE)

Role Responsibilities
Lead the strategy, deployment, and optimization of HW platform with supporting software to run real-time algorithms and analytics, storing data and interfacing with broad manufacturing infrastructure.
Collaborate with department leads to identify business questions and develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to meet strategic needs
Translate business requirements into scalable data models and technical specifications
Manage and mentor a small team of analysts and/or contractors
Ensure high-quality data integrity, validation processes, and governance
Provide data storytelling that drives alignment and decision-making across all levels of the organization
Evaluate new technologies and tools to improve analytics capabilities and efficiency
Present findings and performance insights to senior leadership and executive teams
Your Roles and Responsibilities are:
Architect and build an appropriate platform based upon requirements developed in collaboration with other stakeholders for multimodal data synthesis and high-throughput actioning
Lead engineering efforts across disciplines including ML, hardware and physics simulation
Source platform components to build a prototype platform in anticipation of full product build; with system optimization, reliability and scalability
Work with application developers on the team and within product divisions to incorporate applications onto the platform
Implement APIs and user interfaces to deliver actionable results to operators, engineers or other systems
Work with key customers to roll out and implement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in systems or platform engineering, with at least 1–2 years in a managerial or lead role
- Strong proficiency in analytics software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Excel); Physics-based modeling and how to operationalize them; knowledge of Python or R is a plus; GPU acceleration a plus
- Experience working with large datasets and cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional projects and building data-driven culture
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate complex data into strategic recommendations
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
