The Planning & Investment unit in Iberdrola Italia is critical to the strategic success of the organization. This unit is responsible for project portfolio management, strategic planning. It works closely with both business units and the global team to ensure that initiatives are aligned with long-term corporate goals. Additionally, the unit analyzes market trends, studying competitors and trends of interest. The unit is looking for a talented Data Analyst to join the team to support these crucial activities by analyzing data and providing strategic insights.

Role Description

The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, normalizing, analyzing and interpreting data to support strategic planning and business decisions. In particular, the Data Analyst collects relevant strategic data from different business sources, including internal reports and input from business leaders.

A key part of their job is to ensure that data is accurate and consistent, eliminating errors and duplicates through data normalization processes. The Data Analyst is also involved in the design of strategic dashboards and reports, creating interactive visualizations that connect different data sources to provide a complete and up-to-date view of business performance. They implement systems for automating reports, reducing manual work and improving efficiency. Using statistical models and machine learning algorithms, the Data Analyst performs predictive analysis to forecast future trends and support strategic planning. They also analyze data to identify new opportunities for growth and improvement, as well as potential risks. Furthermore, the Data Analyst plays a fundamental role in market research, gathering information on market trends and competitors, and uses this information to identify opportunities for growth and improvement, thus maintaining a competitive advantage in the industry. REQUIREMENTS

Education

Master's degree in statistics, engineering, or business administration

Professional Experience

1. Data Analysis Experience: The candidate should have hands-on experience in data analysis, preferably in a business context. This includes the ability to work with large data sets, use analytics tools such as SQL, Python, R, and visualization software such as Power BI.

2. Analytics Project Management: Experience in planning and monitoring data analytics projects and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience in working with multiple business functions to ensure that data analytics plans are well-integrated and support business objectives.

4. Market Research and Competitor Analysis: Experience in gathering and analyzing information on market trends and competitors. This includes analyzing market conditions and studying competitor strategies.

5. Dashboard and Report Design: Experience in creating interactive dashboards and strategic reports, connecting multiple data sources to provide a comprehensive and up-to-date view of business performance. This includes implementing interactive features such as drill-down, filters and dynamic selections.

6. Reporting Process Automation: Experience in implementing systems to automatically generate periodic reports, reducing manual work and improving efficiency. This demonstrates the ability to improve business processes through automation.

7. Continuous KPI Monitoring: Experience in continuously monitoring key performance metrics (KPIs) through dashboards, quickly identifying any issues or opportunities.
