We are looking for a dynamic Lead Audience Generation and Segmentation Director to join our MA&I team, contributing to our growth initiatives and accelerating our transition to an AI-driven operating model. This role involves both execution and mentoring, requiring proven expertise in AI-driven audience segmentation and lead scoring, along with strong industry knowledge in wealth management, asset management, or insurance.
 

Operating within a matrixed B2B2C model, you will collaborate to shape and implement strategies for high-performing audience generation over Prudential’s diverse client categories, partners, and channels. This impactful role champions the integration of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party data with AI tools and automation to facilitate data-driven engagement decision-making across media, sales, and marketing.

The current EWA for this position is Hybrid (Newark) and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.  ​

Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:

  • Lead and contribute to future-state roadmaps, focusing on technical design and optimization, while fostering mentorship and collaboration.
  • Modernize lead generation processes across media, marketing, and sales with data-driven solutions, ensuring privacy and compliance standards.
  • Mentor the team in advanced analytics tools and methodologies, aligning strategies with growth goals and AI transformation objectives.
  • Build scalable, intelligent systems to improve efficiency and integrate AI-assisted workflows into daily operations.
     

Lead Generation:

  • Develop and execute 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party data-driven scoring systems to predict and enhance metrics like CAC, LTV, NPS and conversion rates.
  • Identify, define, and enable target audiences and market triggers in industries such as retirement strategies, wealth management, and insurance.
  • Implement tools for capturing and scoring lead opportunities across digital and traditional channels.
  • Conduct data mining to discover high-value audience cohorts and segments.

Segmentation & Scoring:

  • Utilize AI/ML methods including clustering, classification, and recommendation systems for segmentation and lead scoring model development and iteration.
  • Define requirements for an AI-powered lead scoring engine in the B2B2C space.
  • Collaborate across matrixed organizations to continuously refine models for improved segmentation and targeting precision and impact.
     

Utilization & Outcome Analytics:

  • Influence the development of business intelligence and analytics tools to support transparency, reporting, and optimization of lead performance.
  • Analyze and interpret trends to drive new insights, higher lead quality and conversion rate improvements.
  • Prioritize the lead audience experimentation portfolio to optimize performance.
  • Maintain feedback loops with brand advertising, marketing, sales and field distribution teams to refine strategies.

Qualifications:
Experience:

  • 7+ years in audience generation or growth marketing with 3+ years in a leadership capacity, showing success in the B2B2C space. Startup or innovation lab experience is a plus
  • Success in scaling AI/ML-powered segmentation, lead generation, and scoring frameworks.
  • Experience in wealth management, asset management, or insurance with a firm understanding or customer journeys and compliance.
  • Ability to translate technical insights into marketing strategies across multiple business lines.

Technical Skills:

  • Expert-level proficiency in AI/ML frameworks specifically for segmentation and predictive modeling, with demonstrated experience in deploying, optimizing, and maintaining models using platforms such as SageMaker, Azure, and Databricks.
  • Advanced coding skills in SQL, Python, and R, capable of designing complex algorithms and scripts for data analysis and manipulation to inform strategic marketing decisions.
  • Extensive experience with business intelligence tools like Tableau and Power BI, including the development of interactive dashboards and comprehensive reports that translate data insights into actionable business strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of AI-based lead scoring solutions and signal intelligence platforms such as 6Sense and Bombora, with a track record of effectively implementing these tools to enhance precision in lead segmentation and scoring.

What we offer you:

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $164,700.00 to $222,700.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
