[MULTIPLE POSITIONS]: RGA Enterprise Services Company (RGA) seeks Senior Financial Risk Analysts to carry out economic scenario generation, hedging, exotic derivatives pricing, and other capital markets related analyses, as well as research of theoretical developments related to the above under limited supervision. The position is based out of the headquarters at 16600 Swingley Ridge Rd, Chesterfield, MO 63017. Telecommuting is permitted 100% of the time from anywhere in the U.S. This position will participate in key unit projects including year-end reporting and compliance, settlement work, and line-of-business management reports. This position will also assist in applying the findings to efficient hedging implementation and enhanced pricing support. Key responsibilities include the following: performs economic scenario generation activities using both frequentists and Bayesian MCMC techniques including optimization and debugging of MATLAB, NUMERIX and VBA code, re-evaluation of generator(s) parameters, tuning of generator input assumptions with minimal oversight, and analysis of comparative ESG techniques; assists with the development of the division annual business plan, interacting with the Finance, Valuation, Corporate Modeling, and Corporate Actuarial departments as necessary to ensure the plan relies upon the most current models, assumptions, and reporting bases available; assists in the risk management assessment and reporting activities for the division including ongoing development and enhancement of ALM models for risk management analyses, hedging initiatives, and GAAP, STAT and SII valuation; cooperates with technical leads in the development of innovative models in support of structured transactions and other products with embedded optionality; provides quantitative analysis for hedging via computing model-dependent Greek in continuous-time models and other capital markets related pricing activities with only minimal oversight; performs Risk Neutral Scenario Generation and Monte Carlo simulations-based pricing of exotic derivatives using variance reduction techniques; ensures economic databases are kept up to date in support of department work, including ongoing reviews of source validation and comparative consistency; and participates in key unit and ad-hoc department projects as needed. RGA’s compensation package includes an annual bonus plan. RGA also maintains a full range of health, retirement, and other employee benefits. The compensation range noted below indicates that the base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. For this particular position, the offered salary is $118,680.00 and is non-negotiable.
Basic Qualifications:
The position requires a master's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Math, Finance, or Economics, or a related quantitative field, plus at least two (2) years of experience as a Senior Financial Risk Analyst, or in a similar role involving financial analysis. **Alternatively, in lieu of a master's degree and 2 years of experience, the employer will accept a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Math, Finance, or Economics, or a related quantitative field and at least five (5) years of experience as a Senior Financial Risk Analyst, or in a similar role involving financial analysis.** A qualified applicant's experience must include: 1 year of experience using statistical programs (SAS, and/or Gauss) or a computing language (Python, C and/or C++) to support enterprise-wide scenario generation and data analysis as well as maintaining multiple models coded in different computer languages; 2 years of experience using financial tools for Asset/Liability Pricing (NUMERIX and/or MATLAB) to price complex embedded insurance contingent claims and corresponding hedge assets; 2 years of experience applying knowledge of Hull-White model, LMM, Heston, Stochastic Volatility, and Intensity credit models to work with the Non-Traditional Actuarial Valuation and Pricing functions with scenarios and analysis in support of financial reporting and pricing of new transactions; 2 years of experience using advanced optimization and debugging of NUMERIX (Python version), MATLAB and VBA code geared to the creation, maintenance and improvement of models used to support Variable Annuities, Fixed Index Annuities, Variable Universal Life and Indexed Universal Life; 2 years of experience with Bloomberg API to retrieve market data in support of daily monitoring of hedging programs and calibration sets for multiple models; 2 years of experience in computational finance; 2 years of experience in econometrics, statistics, math, and computational finance; and 2 years of experience in VBA for automating various Excel driven processes.

Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan.
