Key Responsibilities
Logistics Training Manager is responsible for identifying and assessing employee training needs, designing and implementing tailored training programs, and evaluating the effectiveness of those programs to enhance employee skills and performance, while aligning training initiatives with company goals and objectives.
Key duties include: conducting needs assessments, developing training materials, facilitating train-the-trainer sessions, evaluating effectiveness of the training delivery by individual trainers, and monitoring overall training progress for the organization.
- Manages diverse team responsible for conducting general, job specific, and safety training.
- Adapt training programs to different learning styles, accommodate diverse needs, and respond to changing organizational requirements.
- Familiarity with various training technologies, including learning management systems (LMS), e-learning platforms, and virtual training tools to provide cutting-edge and relevant opportunities to learners
- Determines staffing requirements; ensures effective recruitment, training, and retention of key staff to enable staff development.
- Motivate and guide trainees throughout the learning process, coach and mentor individuals, provide constructive feedback and guidance, and foster a positive learning environment to maximize the impact of the training program.
- Leverage project management skills to plan, organize, and execute training programs within timelines and budget constraints
- Work closely with Management to implement corrective actions following operational process audits.
- Generates necessary documentation, including activity/status reports, operation review input, and other data analysis to identify and communicate training program opportunities and successes.
- Administers company policies, including yearly performance review, that directly affect subordinate employees.
Other Requirements: This position may require standing for extended periods of time, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, lifting, the ability to distinguish between colors, the ability to work in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals with sensitivity to noise, and the use of hand and power tools.

- Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results will cause delays in schedules.

- Interaction normally requires the ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules.
Position requires understanding of Applied Materials global Standards of Business Conduct and compliance with these standards at all times. This includes demonstrating the highest level of ethical conduct reflecting Applied Materials' core values.
Accreditations in Learning and Development, such as Certified Professional in Training Management (CPTM) or Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) a plus.

NoThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
