Booz Allen is seeking a Palantir Data Engineer to support mission-critical projects for Army training, leveraging Palantir Foundry. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to develop scalable data pipelines, build robust applications, and integrate various data sources to drive impactful decision-making. Youâll contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
As a Palantir Data Engineer, youâll help build advanced technology solutions and implement data engineering activities on some of the most mission-driven projects in the industry. Youâll deploy and develop pipelines and platforms that organize and make disparate data meaningful.Â
Here, youâll work with and guide a multi-disciplinary team of analysts, data engineers, developers, and data consumers in a fast-paced, agile environment. Youâll use your experience in analytical exploration and data examination while you manage the assessment, design, building, and maintenance of scalable platforms for your clients.

What You'll Work On:
Develop in Maven Smart Systems, Foundry, and AIP to develop Data and AI solutions for warfighters.
Develop and maintain Foundry pipelines using Pipeline Builder to ingest, transform, and integrate data.
Build modular applications and workflows leveraging TypeScript, Python, and Foundry AIP.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and mission stakeholders to refine data models and ontology mapping.
Utilize code repositories such as Git to manage and version control development efforts.
Assist in Foundry workshops to guide stakeholders through platform capabilities.
Support testing, debugging, and performance tuning of Foundry applications.
Work in Agile development environments, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives.

You Have:âŻâŻÂ
2+ years of experience with data engineering, including application or software development
2+ years of experience with Palantir Foundry
Experience working with Maven Smart Systems, including Foundry and AIP
Experience with Python or TypeScript
Experience with Pipeline Builder, AIP, and Foundry's application development ecosystem
Experience with Git-based code repositories and CI/CD workflows
Ability to work in fast-paced, Agile environments
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:âŻâŻÂ
Experience working with U.S. Army units at the Brigade level or above
Experience working with SharePoint, Dataverse, and Microsoft Power Platform
Experience working in mission-oriented analytics or logistics-based data environments
Experience with data modeling, ontology mapping, or data visualization within Foundry
Knowledge of DevSecOps best practices and software lifecycle methodologies
Knowledge of Army training centers
Possession of excellent problem-solving skillsÂ

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individualâs particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allenâs total compensation package for employees.
