We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join one of our teams - Bluebeam.
YOUR DAILY CHALLENGES
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality data products, including data lakes, data warehouses, and reporting systems, to support the company's data-driven initiatives;
- Develop and manage ETL pipelines that integrate data from various sources into data platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, etc.), ensuring reliable, scalable, and efficient data workflows;
- Work with high-volume event streams and implement near-real-time data reporting solutions to enable fast, actionable insights across Bluebeam products;
- Implement best practices for data modelling, data governance, and security within the data ecosystem (including Snowflake, Redshift, or other platforms).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and business analysts, to understand data requirements and design solutions that align with business objectives.
- Design and optimise cloud-native data infrastructure using Amazon AWS (S3, EC2, Lambda, etc.) and Terraform for infrastructure as code management.
- Champion data initiatives within the company, optimising data pipelines for better performance, scalability, and reliability.
OUR EXPECTATIONS
- At least 6+ years of experience in any programming language;
- Experience in Go programming language;
- Experience with Snowflake, Redshift, or similar data platforms, including architecture, data modelling, performance optimisation, and integrations;
- Experience designing and building data lakes and data warehouses, ensuring data integrity, scalability, and performance;
- Proficient in developing and managing ETL pipelines, using modern tools and techniques to transform, load, and integrate data efficiently;
- Experience with high-volume event streams (such as Kafka, Kinesis) and near real-time data processing solutions for fast and accurate reporting;
- Experience in AWS (EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, ELB, Lambda);
- Strong communication skills;
- Bachelor's degree in computer science studies;
- Fluent in English.
CONSIDERED A PLUS
- Experience in Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
