Your mission

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our team.

Your mission involves building and maintaining medical data pipelines and managing our medical data warehouse in close collaboration with cross-functional teams. Your role will be critical in ensuring the reliability and scalability of our services, directly impacting the product's effectiveness in improving patients' lives.

Your responsibilities

  • Manage and provide data repositories for AI, medical, and product discovery teams

  • Build reliable and robust data pipelines in coordination with product managers & AI engineers

  • Administration of quality feedback loops and data surveillance (e.g., production case evaluation)

  • Management of annotation pipelines and platforms to ensure a constant data flow

  • Support the data engineering team in tasks related to our core infrastructure

  • Provide well maintained, documented, and testable code, upholding our high quality standards

  • Supervise delivery and quality control of data-sets & content, e.g. hold-out, training-data, data-analysis

What are we looking for?

  • A degree in a relevant scientific (Medical/Computer Science, Engineering) discipline or equivalent experience in a related field

  • Deep knowledge in databases (SQL/PostgreSQL)

  • Deep knowledge in data engineering toolkits (pandas, airflow, airbyte, dbt)

  • Proficiency in Python and Docker

  • Keen eye for detail and a commitment to scientific accuracy

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language

  • Strong commitment to teamwork and to delivering robust and scalable solutions

Good-to-have: 

  • Experience working with DICOM and/or in the Radiology field is a big plus

  • Familiarity in working with cloud environments (AWS/GCP)

  • Experience with NoSQL databases

  • Familiarity with machine learning and computer vision methods
