YOUR TEAM 
Our new AI Fashion Recommendations team is at the forefront of developing state-of-the-art AI solutions for some of BESTSELLER’s most strategically important projects. Our goal is ambitious: to ensure we provide personalised recommendations for all wholesale customers anticipating their needs, to ensure BESTSELLER is the best possible vendor for them. Our work has a high focus on delivering value to our brands and we are working in a hypothesis-driven manner to always test out ideas and directly measure the impact of our solutions.  

YOUR JOB 
As our new Senior Data Scientist, you’ll be part of shaping AI-powered experiences across BESTSELLER’s wholesale landscape. Your main tasks will include:

• Developing and implementing advanced machine learning models for fashion recommendations, including customer and product models for efficient and personalized recommendations 
• Analysing large datasets to extract meaningful insights and inform recommendation strategies 
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver effective AI solutions 
• Continuously researching and staying updated on the latest AI and machine learning technologies relevant to fashion forecasting 
• Presenting complex data and recommendations in a clear and understandable manner to stakeholders 
• Supporting the development of a Customer Data Platform that empowers our sales organisation with data-driven insights.

YOUR PROFILE 
If you’re passionate about creating value from machine learning applications, we’d love to hear from you! We're looking for someone with strong communications skills, excellent problem-solving abilities who pays attention to details. 

Other qualifications to succeed in the role are:  

• A Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field 
• 3-5 years of experience as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer 
• Strong experience in deep learning and recommender systems 
• Strong programming skills in Python or R 
• Experience with Databricks 
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
