Join our hyper-growth Healthcare & Lifesciences field engineering team as we redefine the future of data and AI. We are looking for a leader to build, lead, and own our Delivery Solutions Architect function. This is a unique opportunity to create and enhance a critical capability, ensuring our largest and most strategic customers achieve maximum value and success with our platform.
Role Overview:
As the Head of Delivery Solutions Architects, you will be responsible for building and leading a team of elite post-sales technical experts (Delivery Solution Architects). You will define the technical strategy for our most important enterprise customers, focusing on accelerating the deployment of their use cases into production and driving deep, long-term consumption growth.
This is a senior leadership role that requires a blend of strategic vision, technical depth, people leadership, and cross-functional prowess. You will partner closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, Professional Services, SI partners and Engineering leadership to help create a seamless customer journey from initial sale to full-scale production adoption. You will report to the Vice President, TechGM of Field Engineering for Healthcare and Lifesciences.
The Impact You Will Have:
- Build the Function: Define and hone the charter, operational model, and value proposition of the Delivery Solutions Architect function. Hire, develop and manage first-line managers and a growing, global team of technical Delivery Solution Architects (DSAs).
- Lead & Develop a High-Performing Team: Hire, coach, and grow a diverse team for a company in hyper-growth mode. Foster a collaborative, customer-obsessed culture and ensure your team stays ahead of the technical curve in Data, Analytics, and AI.
- Drive Customer Value & Adoption: Own the post-sales technical execution strategy for key customers. Guide your team in leading architecture discussions, running technical workshops, creating project execution plans, and removing blockers to get customer use cases into production faster and more smoothly.
- Strategic Cross-Functional Partnership: Build trusted relationships and create a unified GTM motion with Sales, Pre-Sales Field Engineering, and Professional Services leadership to accelerate customer growth and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Executive Sponsorship & Thought Leadership: Act as the trusted technical advisor and executive sponsor to C-level stakeholders at a select number of strategic customers, guiding their strategic data initiatives and ensuring long-term success.
- Operational Excellence: Institute processes, forecasting models, and operational rigor to monitor customer health, predict usage growth, and demonstrate the ROI of your team's involvement.
- Shape the Brand: In partnership with Marketing and Sales, build our brand as a trusted partner that delivers transformational business value for our customers across the globe.
What We Look For:
- Proven Leadership: 10+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles within enterprise SaaS, with at least 5+ years in a leadership capacity building and managing high-performing pre-sales or post-sales teams. Second-line leadership experience (manager of managers) is highly preferred.
- Technical Domain Expertise: Deep experience in SaaS technologies, particularly in Data Analytics, Data Warehousing, Data Engineering, MLOps, and AI/Data Science. You should be passionate about data-driven decisions and cloud software models.
- Delivery & GTM Experience: A proven track record of success in both pre-sales and post-sales environments. You have experience supporting complex, strategic accounts (e.g., generating +$1M ARR) and concrete experience in the delivery and deployment of data workloads into production.
- Strategic & Business Acumen: Ability to operate as a trusted advisor to technical executives (like CIOs, CDOs, and VPs of Engineering), guiding them through strategic decisions. You are conversant with the business challenges our customers face and can tie technical solutions to business value.
- Builder & Influencer: You have a track record of transformational success, not just managing existing teams but building new capabilities. You possess an exceptional ability to influence, develop, and empower your teams and partners to achieve ambitious objectives.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience gained through a distinguished career.
