Job Title: Junior Data Analyst

Purpose of the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and disciplined Junior Data Analyst to support key operational functions within the business. This individual will be responsible for managing and validating data processes related to forecasting, pricing, and order management. The ideal candidate must be confident in identifying discrepancies, enforcing process accuracy, and collaborating with various departments to ensure data integrity.


Key Responsibilities:
Forecast & Order Management
· Execute and validate forecast changes in line with business logic.
· Load and maintain bulk forecasts and bulk orders.
· Manage forecast movements and rollover processes.
· Add new products to forecasts (with guidance from Key Account Managers.).

Pricing & Product Administration
· Perform permanent and temporary price changes.
· Create and update pricelists, including assigning/removing promotions.
· Manage zero-price product identification and resolution.
· Add or remove products from pricelists.

Data Access & Configuration
· Manage user access to forecast groups and pricelists.
· Link accounts and users in the system.
· Check product existence and manage bundle code components.
· Assign users and handle account linking.

System & Sales Data Maintenance
· Import and delete sales data.
· Track and update container information.
· Handle EDI order issues (fixing and pulling EDI data via SQL).
· Manage sales order pushing and confirmations.
· Support accurate data in the Retailers Map, Quotes/SOS, and Sell-Through reports.

Operational Support
· Read and interpret Power BI reports (report building not required).
· Perform basic SQL queries to investigate data issues.
· Support day-to-day business processes by creating packing lists and adjusting delivery/shipping information as needed.

Required Skills and Competencies:
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Ability to enforce rules and processes when needed.
· Basic SQL knowledge (ability to query and extract data).
· Competence in reading Power BI reports.
· Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets.
· Effective communicator who works well under pressure.
· Process-driven, with strong organisational abilities.

Qualifications and Experience:
· Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (advantageous).
· 1–2 years of experience in a data support or analyst role (preferably in a supply chain, sales, or retail environment).
· Prior exposure to EDI systems, order processing, or forecast management systems is advantageous
