Job Description

  • During your internship you will design and develop an internally accessible web UI application that enables users of the Semiconductor Database (SCDB), our big data storage within the global semiconductor manufacturing network, to review, submit and modify product configuration data stored in an existing Oracle database.
  • You will research, evaluate and compare frameworks available at Bosch for creating web UI applications.
  • Furthermore, you will set up and deploy the application on a virtual Unix machine.
  • Finally, you will create scripts (e.g. with Python, SQL) for the analysis and visualization of semiconductor product and process data. The data is stored in the SCDB and relational databases including Oracle DB.

Qualifications

  • Education: studies in the field of Computer Sciences, Engineering or comparable
  • Experience and Knowledge: intermediate programming skills in SQL or Python; HTML/CSS basic knowledge; Unix and Git is a plus
  • Personality and Working Practice: you work independently and engage effectively with team members
  • Work Routine: office and mobile working within Germany
  • Languages: very good in English and good in German

Additional Information

Start: according to prior agreement
Duration: 6 months (confirmation of mandatory internship required)
