The Global Strategic Sourcing team is currently searching for a Data and Analytics Engineer to join our team. This position works within the Collins Aerospace Central Supply Chain organization and is focused on managing the data ecosystem, reports, analytics and projects supporting the enterprise Supply Chain operations.
What You Will Do:
Repeatedly communicate with stakeholders to gather, define, and refine requirements.
Collaborate with other teams and functions to identify viable data sources and mine data that can be used to satisfy requirements and supports downstream processes and solutions.
Aggregate, store, query, and cleanse large data sets using SQL, SQL Server Management Studio, and Python.
Analyze large data sets using Microsoft Excel, Python or other programming languages, machine learning techniques and artificial intelligence techniques.
Derive business insights from data analysis and summarize, communicate, and present those insights to leadership and internal customers (usually commodity managers) in a concise manner that is easily understood.
Automate and standardize recurring reporting deliverables using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Python or other programming/scripting languages.
Architect and develop digital solutions that streamline business processes, deploying automation where possible.
Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to satisfy business needs and reporting requirements using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Tableau, and Power BI.
Actively lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives using Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE) tools and methods.
Create robust and detailed documentation and job-aids for both end user and data scientist use.
Host, lead, attend, and participate in group meetings, teleconferences, and training.
Promote and improve data literacy by educating end users and stakeholders about data sources, use cases for available data, and digital solutions that streamline business processes.
Must be willing and able to travel 5% of the time
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
3+ years of experience with SQL
1+ years experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization software
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience with SAP
Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, etc.)
Experience with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
Experience with continuous improvement programs/methodologies (CORE, Lean, Six Sigma, Shainin Red X, etc.)
Experience with Agile project management methodology
Experience with version control software (e.g. Git, SVN, etc.)

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
