Integrated in a fast-growing team of scientists and research engineers, you will work (for at least 3 months) on helping us to develop core algorithms and taking academic ideas into working prototypes.

Literature research & deep dive into the current state-of-the-art world of AI
Application & implementation of these technologies into a real-world Zeiss scenario
Continuous exchange with internal AI experts
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science with an outstanding study record, and currently enrolled in a master’s program
Solid understanding of AI, especially NLP, LLM's & agents
Programming background in Python and hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or Tensorflow
Hands-on experience with AI integration & deployment or MLOps
High motivation, creativity, flexibility, and a structured and independent way of working
Effective communication and presentation skills in English or German
