We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our Integrated Creative Solutions team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cloud-based analytics platforms and data pipelines that efficiently acquire, cleanse, transform, and publish data from a diverse range of sources. The candidate will also lead a technical team primarily composed of vendors delivering our Analytics Studio solution. This role will play a crucial part in optimizing the creative asset creation and measurement processes to improve our overall efficiency and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble and manage large, complex datasets that fulfill both functional and non-functional business requirements
Collaborate with data asset managers, architects, and development leads to ensure technical solutions deliver high-quality, usable data in alignment with architectural blueprints
Contribute to and adhere to coding standards and best practices, ensuring services and components are efficient, scalable, and reusable
Identify opportunities for internal process improvements and implement solutions to enhance data workflows and analytics capabilities
Support the measurement and optimization of creative assets through data-driven insights and analytics.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience (5+ years) as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong focus on cloud-based data solutions
Extensive experience with GCP and/or Azure cloud platforms, specifically BigQuery and related analytics tools
Proficiency in SQL and Python, with a strong understanding of query optimization and performance tuning
Experience with data modeling, data partitioning, and data warehousing best practices
Familiarity with data orchestration tools such as Airflow and Composer
Experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI and/or Looker)
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
