We are currently looking for a Marketing Data Analyst (all genders) based in Berlin or working remotely in Germany.

Your mission with us:
As a Senior Marketing Data Analyst (all genders), you will work closely with the Marketing team and Data Team to enable data-driven decision-making and improve marketing performance. You will leverage your strong analytical and tracking expertise to monitor channel performance, optimize campaigns, and enhance reporting capabilities. Your insights and recommendations will directly contribute to our marketing strategies and business growth.

Your tasks:

  • Partnering with the Marketing team and channel managers to analyze campaign performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Developing, maintaining, and optimizing tracking frameworks across digital marketing channels (Paid Search, Paid Social, Organic, Email, etc.).
  • Setting up and managing tracking solutions using Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics (GA4), and other tracking tools.
  • Assisting with the implementation of UTM strategies and ensuring accurate data collection for multi-touch attribution.
  • Supporting daily performance monitoring, reporting on key marketing metrics, and identifying opportunities for optimization.
  • Ability to align marketing and finance data for accurate cost attribution, budgeting, and ROI tracking while standardizing marketing metrics, KPIs, and taxonomy across teams.
  • Experience collaborating with finance teams to align on cost allocation, accruals, and spend recognition, with an understanding of VAT implications in marketing spend and the ability to reconcile marketing expenses with financial records.
  • Working closely with the Data team to execute reporting improvement initiatives and streamline marketing dashboards.
  • Refining and challenging stakeholder requests, translating business needs into clear analytical solutions.
  • Driving automation efforts for marketing reports and ensuring data integrity across systems.
  • Providing training and guidance on data literacy for marketing stakeholders to enhance their data-driven decision-making capabilities.

You bring to the team:

  • 5+ years of experience in a data analytics role, ideally within a B2C marketing environment.
  • Strong background in Marketing Analytics, Digital Marketing, and Performance Marketing.
  • Expertise in Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics (GA4), and tracking implementation.
  • Proficiency in SQL to extract and manipulate marketing data.
  • Hands-on experience with Tableau and marketing performance dashboards.
  • Strong understanding of marketing attribution models and tracking methodologies.
  • Familiarity with advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other programmatic platforms.
  • Ability to manage large datasets and work with complex data structures.
  • Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of Matomo is a plus.
  • Python or DBT knowledge is a plus but not required.
  • Passionate about marketing, data, and performance optimization with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving mindset.
