Who we are
Join our global Centre of Excellence as a subject matter expert (SME) for Agentic AI Services, collaborating with teams worldwide to drive innovation and excellence. As part of this central function, you will help shape, implement, and scale cutting-edge Agentic AI solutions across the organization and our clients
This hands-on role requires deep expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data to design, build, and deploy advanced Agentic AI-driven solutions tailored to clients' unique needs.
The Data Architect is a highly skilled and deep subject matter expert responsible for ensuring data systems and structures are purpose-built for scalable, secure, and high-quality use, especially in preparing data for integration into Agentic AI applications. This individual provides in-depth technical leadership in transforming data architecture using Microsoft technologies (notably Microsoft Fabric), and designing robust pipelines and models to ensure organizational data is AI-ready.
The Data Architect is charged with establishing modern data platforms—leveraging Microsoft’s ecosystem—for data ingestion, storage, management, and governance, enabling trustworthy access and usage for downstream Agentic AI solutions and analytics. This role requires profound expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Power BI, and related tools, ensuring the company possesses the optimal data foundation for the next era of AI-driven business.
What you'll be doing
- Leads the discovery, design and implementation of data architectures and pipelines in Microsoft Fabric, ensuring data collected is accessible, scalable, and primed for AI agent consumption.
- Guides teams in understanding and preparing complex internal/external data sources for readiness in Agentic AI workflows and models.
- Partners with cloud engineering and business teams to design and deploy systematic, scalable data models and data products using Microsoft Azure Data Services, Power BI, OneLake, and Data Factory.
- Establishes data ingestion and transformation processes—including ETL/ELT pipelines—that support both operational needs and sophisticated AI/ML inferencing at scale.
- Provides expertise in creating and enforcing data quality, cataloguing, lineage, and governance processes with Microsoft Purview to ensure compliance, privacy, and trust in data readiness for AI usage.
- Champions the integration of Microsoft Fabric features (Data Engineering, Data Science, Data Warehousing, Real-Time Analytics, and Power BI) to build a modern, unified data ecosystem ready for the adoption of next-gen Agentic AI solutions.
- Develops and maintains robust data models, data lakes, and semantic layers to meet the analytical and AI needs of the business.
- Works cross-functionally to assess and translate business requirements into logical and physical data architectures—ensuring alignment with AI enablement goals.
- Coaches and mentors teams on best practices in modern data architecture, cloud data platforms, and readiness for AI/ML enablement, using Microsoft tools and frameworks.
- Ensures reliable, secure integration across various cloud and on-premises systems, optimizing data flows for intelligence, analytics, and automation.
- Collaborates closely with stakeholders to drive adoption of best-in-class data platform practices, supporting the organization’s transition to Agentic AI capabilities.
What you'll bring along
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer) preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in architecting, building, and maintaining enterprise data solutions in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
- Demonstrated success in preparing data environments for AI/ML and advanced analytics use cases.
- Proven experience with ETL/ELT design, data lakehouse architectures, real-time analytics, and Power BI-based reporting.
- Deep familiarity with modern data governance, lineage, and cataloging (Microsoft Purview or similar).
- Strong track record of collaborating with multiple business and technical stakeholders to deliver AI-ready data solutions.
- Deep expertise in designing and implementing cloud-based data platforms, with significant experience in the Microsoft ecosystem (Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Power BI, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, Purview).
- Strong knowledge of data architecture and engineering concepts—data modeling, ETL/ELT, data lakehouse, real-time data streaming, and API-based data integration.
- Skilled in preparing datasets and building features specifically tailored for AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics.
- Excellent understanding of data governance, compliance, and privacy in enterprise settings.
- Proficient at data profiling, cataloguing, lineage, and metadata management for AI readiness.
- Advanced skills in SQL, DAX, T-SQL, Python, or Spark (within Microsoft-supported frameworks).
- Analytical thinker with a business-centric approach to transforming data into actionable insights and competitive advantage.
- Collaborative leader with strong communication skills; able to work independently and across multidisciplinary teams.
- Up-to-date awareness of advances in Agentic AI, modern data platforms, and evolving Microsoft technology.
- Demonstrated ability to coach teams on modern data platform adoption, best practices, and readiness for AI.
