Veriff
Highly automated identity verification for fraud prevention, compliance and safeguarding your customers. Build trust, transparency online and drive more growth. The Operations & Analytics team powers Veriffâs business engine. Weâre cracking the online identity crisis in a scalable way, deploying excellence to keep Veriff on the cusp of innovation. Itâs a fast-paced market with many challenges. We need new talent on board to help us fill the gaps: bringing new ways of thinking into the team and, therefore, new possibilities. Our team blends operational excellence with technical insight: bringing together systems, processes, and analytics to ensure Veriff runs efficiently and intelligently.
Weâre looking for a curious and impact-driven player-coach to lead our Product Analytics team. In this role, youâll shape how data informs the evolution of Veriffâs product suite: from IDV and biometrics to the next generation of our core offerings. Youâll work directly with senior product and engineering leadership to ensure analytics is aligned to their biggest priorities and driving product quality, user trust, and strategic advantage.
Youâll lead a team of talented product analysts who embed with cross-functional teams to surface insights that fuel product decisions. This team doesnât just report the numbers, they generate hypotheses, uncover root causes, and help shape the roadmap.
If you thrive on empowering others with data, enjoy solving high-impact product problems, and want to help define the future of identity verification, weâd love to hear from you.
Youâll help us power Veriffâs product development by:
- Leading a growing team of product analysts embedded across multiple product lines (IDV, biometrics, and more).
- Serving as a thought partner to product and engineering leadership, helping prioritize analytical efforts around the most important opportunities.
- Being a player-coach: writing your own analyses, setting standards, and guiding others in framing and solving product questions.
- Defining and evolving best practices in experimentation, behavioral analytics, metric definition, and data storytelling.
- Partnering with data engineering and analytics engineering teams to ensure product data is accurate, accessible, and well-modeled for self-service.
- Helping product teams frame clear, testable hypotheses and using data to drive product iteration.
- Establishing core KPIs and dashboards that track product performance, reliability, and impact across the customer lifecycle.
- Fostering a culture of curiosity, integrity, and excellence in analysisâwhere insights translate into action.
You are the right future Veriffian for the job if you have:
- 7+ years of experience in product analytics, data science, or a related quantitative field, ideally in a high-growth tech environment.
- Expertise in data visualization (ideally Tableau), with the ability to create intuitive, performant dashboards.
- Deep proficiency in dbt and modern analytics engineering practices.
- Strong understanding of scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data environments like Redshift, BigQuery, or Snowflake.
- Strong SQL skills and comfort with statistical analysis in Python (preferred) or R.
- Track record of supporting product teams across discovery, delivery, and iteration phases.
- Experience mentoring or leading analysts, ideally in a matrixed or embedded structure.
- A track record of working across teams to align priorities and push data into product decisions.
- A builderâs mindset: comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving structure in fast-evolving environments.
And you bring these mindsets to the table:
- Self-starter: You thrive in ambiguous environments and can define your own roadmap.
- Deep problem solver: You push beyond surface-level symptoms to uncover root causes.
- Clear communicator: You make complex analyses understandable to stakeholders of all backgrounds.
- Strategic executor: Youâre comfortable zooming out to align on business priorities and zooming in to write code or debug a data pipeline
