The Role:

Are you a recent graduate with a passion for data and a keen interest in financial services? At Amplifi Capital, we’re looking for a bright, analytical, and motivated individual to join our Pricing team as a Graduate Pricing Analyst.

This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career in a fast-growing consumer lending business, where data-driven decision making is at the heart of everything we do. You’ll gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced analysts and senior stakeholders, helping to shape the pricing strategies that drive our loan products.

You’ll be part of a collaborative, high-performing team where your insights will have real impact — and where your growth and development are actively supported.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance loan pricing models across our product suite using a blend of traditional analytics and advanced data science techniques.
  • Drive innovation in pricing and underwriting by championing the adoption of statistical and machine learning methods across the business.
  • Translate complex analysis into actionable insights, presenting findings to senior stakeholders to inform strategic decisions.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance of key lending portfolios, comparing observed outcomes against expected results to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Collaborate closely with teams across pricing, underwriting, and data science to deliver cohesive, data-driven solutions.
  • Streamline and automate repeatable analytical tasks, improving efficiency and scalability of pricing operations.
  • Leverage tools like SQL, Excel, and specialist analytics platforms to conduct deep-dive pricing analysis and monitor market trends.
  • Build and maintain robust pricing models that optimise customer value and commercial performance.
  • Support strategic pricing initiatives, working alongside senior team members to shape Amplifi Capital’s competitive positioning.
  • Contribute to a culture of data-driven decision making, ensuring insights are embedded into everyday business processes.

Requirements

  • Recent STEM (preferred) University Graduate
  • Full Right to Work in the United Kingdom without requiring employment sponsorship
  • Strong analytical mindset with a passion for solving complex problems using data.
  • Foundational knowledge of statistics and data analysis, ideally gained through academic or internship experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel for data manipulation, modelling, and reporting.
  • Basic SQL skills (or willingness to learn) to extract and analyse data from large datasets.
  • Interest in pricing strategy and financial modelling, particularly in the context of consumer lending.
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly, both verbally and in writing, to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborative approach, with a willingness to work closely with pricing, underwriting, and data science teams.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, accurate work.
  • Curiosity about market trends and customer behaviour, and how these influence pricing decisions.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow, with support from experienced analysts and senior leaders.

 

Bonus Points For:

  • Exposure to Python, R, or other data science tools.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Understanding of consumer finance or lending products.
  • Experience working with large datasets or in a regulated environment.
