About the Team:
Our global semiconductor support team comprises 30+ engineers and technical marketing experts spread across the globe, providing crucial support to IC manufacturers in Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Reporting directly to the Würth Elektronik General Managers in Germany, our team enjoys a high degree

Position Summary:
Responsible for managing the daily operation of the test laboratory. This includes working with product design engineers to define efficient, accurate, repeatable, and safe test procedures. This position also involves training technicians to perform various tests at the eval board level and provide guidance when technical issues arise. This position requires maintaining calibration standards within the laboratory.
Key Responsibilities:
You will manage the daily operation of the test laboratory to meet the needs of the Global IC supportteam.
Document test procedure for easy comprehension and efficient implementation by test technicians based on input from product design engineers and product definition engineers.
Develop test schedules and allocate test resources based on priorities that best meet the needs of the Global IC support team.
Perform most probable root cause analysis and propose solutions for test procedure deficiencies and/or component deficiencies.
Supervise and provide guidance for solder rework test boards when necessary.
Train technicians to load, execute and validate test programs.
Modify test programs, as necessary.
Review test and edit reports before submission to product design engineers and product definition engineers.
Develop and execute test procedures to document operation and calibration of test equipment on a defined interval basis.
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of oscilloscopes, vector network analyzer, impedance analyzers, power analyzers, dielectric withstanding voltage (Hipot), thermal imagers and power electronics circuit measurements such as efficiency, ripple current and transient analysis.
Working knowledge of Python, LabVIEW and SCPI protocols.
Familiarity with technical specifications and electrical tests for passive components such as transformers, inductors, capacitors, and resistors.
Trouble shooting hardware and software issues.
Spreadsheet analysis of test results.
Solder assembly and solder rework of both thru-hole and surface mount components.
Working knowledge of basic power electronics circuits: Buck, Boost, Flyback.
Personable interaction skills.
Written documentation skills.
Experience:
BSEE or BSET degree or 7 years professional experience in electrical design and characterization
