About the Role

As a Senior Consultant in the Data and AI Advisory Services team, you will support client projects that address intricate challenges across various industries. You will be part of an award-winning team that focuses on both the technical and business aspects of data, analytics, and AI. This role will provide you with the opportunity to develop into a well-rounded and valued data professional. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Support the design and development of data-driven solutions that provide measurable value to clients. 

  • Assist in the creation of fit-for-purpose data models and enterprise-ready data architectures. 

  • Contribute to the establishment of cloud infrastructure solutions and the integration of data from multiple sources. 

  • Develop data pipelines for production environments. 

  • Attend client meetings and workshops with executives and senior management. 

  • Document system and project requirements. 

  • Contribute to the continual improvement of our data practice. 

  • Collaborate with team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. 

  • Assist in managing project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met and resources are allocated efficiently.

Our Data & AI team is an integral part of our broader Advisory division, offering services in Strategy and Transformation, Digital, and People Advisory. We provide a full stack service, including data engineering, advanced analytics, AI, and visualization. Our approach is highly regarded by clients, and we typically work on projects with significant social impact and value. 

About you

We are looking for an individual who enjoys working as part of a team. You'll have an agile mindset and enjoy working on multiple engagements. Combined with the following skills and experience will ensure your success:

  • Significant experience in data analysis, engineering and architecture, with versatility across roles. 

  • Strong data modelling capabilities, including conceptual, logical, and physical modelling. 

  • Proficiency in Python or SQL. 

  • Experience in delivering end-to-end, secure and scalable data solutions using platforms like Azure/ AWS, Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks, Power Bi etc. 

  • Familiarity with modern data orchestration and transformation tools (e.g., Data Factory, DBT, Airflow). 

  • Proven ability to integrate disparate data sources and deliver value through productionized data pipelines. 

  • Understanding of data security, observability, and networking principles. 

  • Experience developing Data Analytics Platforms, Data Science models and/ or Artificial Intelligence solutions, and working in a consulting environment are highly desirable. 

  • Microsoft certifications such as DP-203, DP-700, PL300, AZ-900 are highly desirable. 

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or suitable work experience in lieu of qualifications.
