GBS Data Product Manager – Decatur, IL, Chicago, IL or Alpharetta, GA
This is a full-time, exempt level position

About the Role:
The Global Business Services (GBS) Data Product Manager will be a leader in shaping a data-driven culture at a Fortune 50 company, overseeing the Business Intelligence COE that is part of ADM’s Global Business Services function.  This role will define the strategy, roadmap, and execution of data products that deliver value for ADM.  Specifically, this role will use a product mindset to align data product development with business strategy and value, own product delivery practice and stakeholder communication, establish data maintenance and governance standards, and evaluate product success using metrics.  Data products will support corporate functions, including order to cash (accounts receivable), source to pay (accounts payable), master data, and others end-to-end processes. 
The Data Product Manager will partner closely with the GBS transactional teams, Accounting and Controlling, Treasury, and Global Technology Data & Analytics teams to evaluate detailed reporting from multiple ERPs  and help design and optimize tools and platforms that makes handling supporting data more efficient for all users. This role reports to the Director, Management Office & Continuous Improvement for ADM’s Global Business Services. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee product delivery team with approximately 7 product owners and data analysts
  • Work closely with Global Technology (IT)’s Data & Analytics product office team to establish fusion team to manage entire data product lifecycle (from ideation, design, development, enhancement, support and retirement)
  • Ensure visualizations are intuitive, user-friendly, and aligned with best practices in data visualization and user experience.
  • Identify opportunities to further enhance data products, including enhancing Databricks-based products
  • Measure performance with a continuous improvement approach to delivery product with earlier value capture
  • Document processes, create training materials, and promote best practices across teams.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data product management, analytics, data platforms, or a related domain.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, warehousing (e.g., Databricks), and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Proven experience delivering data products at scale.
  • Portfolio of dashboards and visualizations that demonstrate clear, impactful storytelling
  • Experience managing teams.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable working with SQL and understanding data models.
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks and regulatory compliance.
Additional Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience working with the data product model
  • Experience in a corporate data product environment
  • Exposure to data cataloging, metadata management, or data mesh concepts.
  • Certification in product management, agile, or data governance frameworks (e.g., SAFe).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Commitment to maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

The pay range for this position is expected to be between:

$73,200.00 - $135,500.00

The total compensation package for this position will also include annual bonus
