As a data analyst at Booz Allen, you can use your skills and experience to support a mission and use data for good. We need a data expert like you to bring your expertise to empower the Army to understand and make use of its data.
As a client-facing data analyst on our Army analytics team, youâll work closely with your clients to understand their questions and needs and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. Not only will you provide a deep understanding of their data, but youâll also advise your client on what the information means and how it can be used to make an impact on Army data quality and usability.
How Youâll Contribute:
As a data analyst on our team, youâll:
- Collaborate cross-functionally to implement and enforce governance and quality standards, manage the data catalog, perform data quality assessments, and contribute across the DataOps function.
- Use your data analytics expertise to support client and stakeholder relationships.
- Contribute to impactful work and guide decision-making across multiple organizations.
- Apply collaboration skills and data analytics expertise by simplifying technical requirements and trends, based on audience.
- Present data findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders using your knowledge of databases and scripting languages such as SQL, Excel, Python, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics and key performance indicators to drive technical outcomes.
- Grow your communication and technical skills by creating data-centric solutions in support of the Army.

You Have:Â
- Experience with MDM standard data governance principles and best practices
- Experience analyzing data using tools such as SQL, Excel, and Python
- Experience directly or indirectly supporting Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes or workflows to integrate data from various sources
- Experience with data profiling and validation methodologies
- Experience implementing data quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and technologies
- Knowledge of the purpose and application of data use agreements or system interface agreements
- Knowledge of data quality assessment techniques and data cleansing processes
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree

- Experience with military service
- Experience working in and around DoD enterprise data systems
- Knowledge of military operations
- Knowledge of military personnel data

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individualâs particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allenâs total compensation package for employees.
